Installation

Requirements

• WordPress 6.8 or later
• PHP 7.4 or later
• A site where you can install plugins

Install from WordPress admin

1. Open Plugins → Add New Plugin.
2. Search for PressViz.
3. Click Install Now.
4. Click Activate.

Manual install

1. Download the plugin ZIP from WordPress.org.
2. In WordPress admin, open Plugins → Add New Plugin.
3. Click Upload Plugin.
4. Upload the ZIP file.
5. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Verify the installation

After activation:

• The PressViz block should appear in the block inserter.
• You should be able to add the block to any post or page.
• PressViz creates its own chart storage table in the database for chart data.

Multisite note

PressViz supports per-site activation on WordPress Multisite.

• Activate it on each site that should use charts.
• Do not network-activate it unless future docs say otherwise.

If something looks wrong

• Confirm your WordPress and PHP versions meet the minimum requirements.
• Deactivate and reactivate the plugin once.
• Check Troubleshooting for common setup issues.
